Fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised. There's the definition of faith. Faith is being fully convinced that God is able to do what God says he will do. Another definition you could say, faith is a believing obedience in what God has said. There's a lot of people say they have faith, but it's just a belief without any sort of obedience. Or belief without any sort of behavioral change. Faith is a combination of saying I believe this and because I say I believe this, I behave this way.
