Do it so that you don't sin against God because that's what we're doing. The idea of, but also for conscience sake, Paul says, it means it is sinful to go against this and do whatever we want to do. You realize sin affects your conscience. The Bible warns against this. When you sin, it's like a layer comes over your heart in order to feel wrong. And the more you do, and maybe you're in this spot where you don't even feel bad anymore for any wrong that you do.
