They show that the work of the law is written in their hearts while their conscience also bears witness and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them. Okay? So Paul's saying that the Gentiles, in this passage, what he means by all of this is that all of us were created in the image of God and God instilled it in us to know the difference between what's right and what's wrong. That word, actually the word conscience actually means knowing the difference between what's right and wrong.
